This house was built in 1868. The architect teamed with the potential owners to bid for this structure after it had been condemned by the City. The proposal won the bid;
documentation of the structure and drawings proceeded immediately. Renovations took two years to complete. It took three months to remove 19 pianos and debris as booth floors had collapsed
with only one room on each floor remaining as original. Many of the home's original features had been removed. This home has been on the Christmas Tour repeatedly, and for the effort won a
citation from the Historic Richmond Foundation.
